Mrs McDermott's P6 class are working alongside Mrs McKeown's P6 class for their Shared Education Project.  The children are studying Necarne Castle.  They are researching the history behind the castle and why it is an important asset to Irvinestown.  As a part of their project they invited local historian, Breege McCusker, to talk about the history of Irvinestown and the importance of Necarne Castle.  The two classes visited Necarne to look at all the important features within the estate.  As an end project the children will share their research with the school community later in the year.
