Pushkin Creative Writing

P5 had a very creative and fun-filled morning with John Harding; a poet and writer. They learned that there used to be 27 letters in the Alphabet 200 years ago and that we only use about 43 of the over 300 sounds that we can make when we talk.  John told P5 that they were all writers and that when they wrote creatively, they were making music! This was part of the Pushkin Programme which encourages creativity.  The theme this year is, 'Reforestation of the Imagination.'
