Connecting Literacy with Outdoor Learning and The World Around Us, P6 are exploring the theme of survival in the Amazon Rainforest. 
Today the class had their first taste of survival training by lighting fires 
and enjoying the treat of toasted marshmallows and toast - luxuries they certainly wouldn’t stumble upon in the rainforest. Over the next few weeks, P6 will take on new challenges: purifying water, 
sampling tropical foods and constructing their own shelters.
