Day for the Poor in memory of the Year of Mercy

Pope Francis has requested that every year this day be a Day for the Poor in memory of the Year of Mercy in 2016.

The day began with a Famine Walk from St Mary’s to the Famine carvings in the Centenary Garden before Mass was celebrated.  

St. Mary's hosted  a Sports Marathon for St Mary’s and St Paul’s pupils who participated in different sports.  Thank you to Mr Sherdian and Rory for a fantastic fun fitness session and also to St. Mary's College for the refreshments.
