Our Place Project

P6 participated in a recent Our Place Project. 

This was facilitated by Frankie Roofe who introduced pupils to the unique concept of Townlands and other placenames and explored the origins and meanings of their local placenames

 To compliment this Anna, from Dylan Quinn Dance group, further explored their townland by performing a short dance routine to symbolise where they live.   Each performance explored a given Townland name and incorporated voice, rhythm and movement.

We look forward to receiving a DVD copy of their final performances.
