P5 were lucky enough to have Jack Burns from the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council visit us for a workshop on tree planting. There were 10 trees to plant and Jack taught the children the importance of thinking about where they are digging, digging deep enough for the roots and picking native trees. The children had a lot of fun digging in the mud and getting mucky. Teamwork and determination was important and we got all of the trees planted!
