Wetland at Castle Archdale

P7 children were invited to an event to mark the completion of the Integrated Construction Wetland at Castle Archdale.  This is the second type of wetland of its kind to be constructed by NI Water - the first being at Stoneyford, Co.Antrim.  This environmentally friendly solution is particularly suited to rural areas as it can accommodate seasonal fluctuation in flow and is therefore ideally suited to the Castle Archdale area.  This represents an eco-friendly, innovative sustainable approach to wastewater treatment.
